Itinerary through the meadows to the capital Jakobstöckl, to the peaks Campill and Astjoch. Panoramic view of the Dolomites, Sarentine Alps, Alps of Zillertal, Rieserferner and the High Tauern. From Lüsen we drive in direction of Flitt, until we reach the parking lot Schweiger Böden (1730 m) (about 6,5 km). We leave our car here and continue our journey by foot on the mountain path (mark 2) uphill, along the mountain huts Genaider, Schneider Fall Alm and the Astalm until we reach the Jakobsstöckl (2026 m - Fabulous view of the valley of Bruneck) From the chapel we walk in north-western direction to the mountain hut Campill where we turn right and follow the path upwards to reach Campill (2190 m) and Hörschanger Kreuz. Enjoying the amazing panorama we walk further to the alpine pasture Einhäuser Alm and then, turning left, to the Astjoch (2194 m) We descend to the south on the marked path to the mountain hut Kreuzwiesenalm (1909 m). From there we walk our way back on the path Schmalzhaussteig until we reach the parking lot Schwaiger Böden. Short cut from Campill: following the mark, we walk downwards on a pasture, then we cross a fence and turn left downhill, where we have to cross a moor after a few minutes. Afterwards we get to the access road of the hut Burger Wiese-Alm and then on the mountain road to Kreuzwiesenalm, which we reach easily after 10 min. Or we turn to the left, following the mark 2A and 2, which leads us to the parking lot Schweiger Böden
