Step by step we find out the native culture of Lüsen and meet its local history. From the town centre we turn left and go to the parish church of St. Georg. Then we follow upwards the stream of the brook Gfasebach, reaching the natural swimming pond, after having passed the children’s playground and the tennis court. Following the path downwards along the brook, we reach the bar Lüsen and the historic farm Mairhof. After crossing the bridge over the brook Lasankenbach to the opposite brook Kaserbach, we have to turn right to get to the nature trail. The trail leads us to the knitter mill Strickermühle. The former trade zone was located here, next to the brook Kaserbach, which allowed using the hydraulic power of the water. Our path leads us to the forge, the knitter mill and the old sawmill and following the upper way, along the old houses, we get back to the town.
